The Vanua Cakaudrove has acknowledged the actions revealed by the interim Minister for Indigenous Affairs Ratu Epeli Nailatikau to go down and visit some Paramount Chiefs who did not attend the Bose ni Turaga.
Spokesperson of the Tui Cakau, Ratu Jekesoni Yavalanavanua said the respect between the chiefs will always be maintained in the traditional manner as highlighted by Ratu Epeli.
Ratu Epeli Nailatikau yesterday mentioned that he is planning to personally visit some paramount Chiefs who have opted not to be part of the Bose ni Turaga and oppose the interim government.
He confirmed that he will visit the Roko Tui Dreketi Ro Teimumu Kepa, the Qaranivalu Ratu Inoke Takiveikata, Tui Cakau Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu and the Tui Namosi Ratu Suliano Matanitobua in his consultations on convening the Great Council of Chiefs.
