The reshuffle of the cabinet is the prerogative of the Prime Minister according to senior SODELPA member and former SODELPA Leader, Ro Teimumu Kepa.
While questioned by the media, Ro Teimumu who is a member of the SODELPA board and working committee, says cabinet reshuffles happen in any country, and it is the Prime Minister’s prerogative on who comes into cabinet.
She says when she was with the former SDL Government, she had no idea when she was called by the Prime Minister on which portfolio to take.
Ro Teimumu says the Prime Minister just gives the portfolio, and you either accept it or resign from your position.
