Fijiana 7s demolish Great Britain 40-0 in Cape Town

The Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s side demolished Great Britain 40-0 in their second pool match at the HSBC SVNS Dubai 7s.

The Fijiana side scored six unanswered tries.

Adita Milinia and Vika Nakacia scored a try each in the first half to ensure Fiji led 14-0 at halftime.

The second half saw the Fijiana score another four tries through Kelerayani Luvu, Vani Buleki, Verenaisi Ditavutu, and Reapi Uluinasau.

The Fijiana lost their first pool match 15-7 to the USA, and they will be aiming for a win when they take on New Zealand at 3.48am today in their last pool match.

The women’s semi-finals will start at 9.38pm tomorrow, and the final is scheduled for 2.10am Monday.

In other results, France beat Japan 29-19, and Australia defeated Canada 26-14.
