Businessman allegedly found with meth to make court appearance today

Businessman Rahul Roneel Singh who was allegedly found with methamphetamine and marijuana last Thursday will appear this afternoon in the Nadi Magistrates Court for his bail hearing.

Singh made his first appearance yesterday since being charged by Police with one count of Unlawful Possession of Illicit Drugs and was remanded by the Nadi Magistrates Court.

Officers from the Fiji Detector Dog Unit allegedly made the discovery in Singh’s vehicle during a stop search along Sonaisali Road in Nadi.

A second search conducted at his home resulted in the discovery of syringes containing clear liquid believed to be drugs.
