First ever urgent virtual parliament sitting to start from this morning

An urgent virtual parliament sitting will be held from this morning.

The parliamentary business committee met on the agenda yesterday afternoon.

The business committee is the highest committee in the House attended by the Prime Minister, Attorney General, Government Whip and a minister, and representing the Opposition is Leader of the Opposition, the SODELPA Whip, the Leader of NFP and the NFP Whip.

We spoke to SODELPA Whip, Lynda Tabuya outside the meeting venue.

When approached by LegendFM News, Attorney General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum refused to make any comments.
