A 46-year-old bus driver who allegedly caused the death of a welder on Wednesday morning has been released on bail by the Nausori Magistrates Court.
Shiu Darshan appeared in court charged with one count of causing death by dangerous driving.
Darshan has been ordered not to interfere with the witnesses, not to change his address and to report to Nausori Police Station every Saturday.
The case will be called again on 11th March.
According to Police, the 42-year-old man died after the bus allegedly hit him while he was walking along Bau Road yesterday morning.
