Bus Association works to make public service vehicles more efficient and comfortable

The Fiji Bus Operators Association is working to make the public service vehicles more efficient and comfortable for people.

President, Richard Lal says that they want more people to travel by buses therefore they are working to make public vehicles appealing in terms of better seat conditions, efficient service delivery and cleanliness.

In an interview with Fijivillage Lal stresses that it is not necessary that all buses should have Wi-Fi and air condition services.

He adds that their main focus is to deliver services on time in every part of the country so that the traffic congestion on the road can be controlled.

When asked if the Association is looking to bring in new buses, Lal says that there is no desperation in getting new buses since the bus companies are maintaining their old buses well.
