Anare Buresolei and Luisa Cagi who are charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine are yet to be located by the investigation officer.

State lawyer Naazia Ali says both firstly refused to receive the notice of motion.

Chief Magistrate, Josaia Waqaivolavola has today uplifted the suspended bench warrant against Buresolei and Cagi to be executed forthwith.

The charges against Buresolei and Cagi have been amended and consolidated with those against the three police officers, Samisoni Ralulu, Roy Senibici and Inoke Tikomaimalevani and two civilians including Anare Buresolei and Anare Vulaki.

The three police officers allegedly unlawfully interfered with the methamphetamine seized during a police operation conducted between the 9th and 10th of February 2024.

The case has been adjourned to the 25th of this month.
