The Digicel Bula Boys will take on Vanuatu in the semi final of the OFC Nations Cup after beating Tahiti 1 nil at the HFC Bank Stadium.

Captain Roy Krishna scored Fiji's only goal in the 25th minute through a penalty.

This is his 40th goal for Fiji.

Fiji's impressive defence kept Tahiti goalless.

Coach Rob Sherman says there were some issues but that is something they need to work on.

He says they have been watching Vanuatu and they will be a reasonable challenge for them.

Sherman says they have played against Vanuatu in the Pacific Games and have some recent history with them so they are looking forward to the game.

The Bula Boys take on Vanuatu at 4pm on Thursday at their home ground.

In another semi final, New Zealand takes on Tahiti at 12pm on Thursday.

The final is at 4pm on Sunday.
