The Fiji Roads Authority have removed a bridge in Nalovo Nadi that is situated beside Anand Assemblies of God Church in Nadi due to it restricting the flow of water during heavy storms and floods in the adjacent area.
Fijivillage had raised concern on this as this caused a threat to the general public who were unaware of this removal.
In their response, Fiji Roads Authority confirmed that for the safety of the people they have placed barricades along the sides of the bridge.
We had also questioned the replacement of the Nalovo Bridge and FRA have yet to respond.
