The Boxing Commission of Fiji says a review is underway to ensure an increase of boxer’s purses from 2021 onwards.

It says this year, in September they successfully removed tax previously charged on boxers’ purses on the basis that boxers earnings fall under the threshold.

The Boxing Commission of Fiji says it is grateful to Fiji Revenue and Customs Service for reviewing and approving this.

The current board of the commission was appointed in 2019.

It consists of Chairman Subhash Appana, Usman Lale, Eroni Loganimoce, Donny Yee and Litiana Loabuka.
