The body of 51-year-old Charlie Brown of Narere Stage One who was reported missing at sea near Nukulau Island on Tuesday has been found.
Police say divers managed to retrieve his body around 11am today along the Nukubuco Sand Bank.
They say Brown went out with a friend to fish near the island at around 5pm on Tuesday and it is believed that sometime after midnight, he fell into the sea after their fiberglass boat was struck by lightning.
Police say Brown's friend managed to swim ashore and lodged a report at around 3 yesterday morning.
