The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua has the capacity for unpredictability, and the Auckland Blues will be taking no chances in their preparation for Saturday's Shop and Save Super Rugby Pacific quarterfinal at Eden Park.

Blues Coach Vern Cotter says they are excited about making the quarterfinals and having them at home.

Cotter stressed that having dealt with some of the issues that cost them against the Crusaders, he was pleased with the improvement the side showed against the Chiefs.

Blues Captain Patrick Tuipolotu says they are aware that the bonus point was under pressure in the final stages.

Tuipolotu emphasizes they will enjoy the fact that they qualified, and have shifted into knockout rugby.

Cotter said the late changes to the backline had shown how selfless the players are.
