Blues seal spot in qualifying finals after 46-6 win over Waratahs

The Auckland Blues have booked their place in the qualifying finals next week after thrashing the Waratahs 46-6 in round 16 of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific.

Blues centre Reiko Ioane scored a hattrick, Mark Tele'a scored twice, and Ricky Riccitelli and Corey Evans scored a try each.

The Waratahs points came from Jack Bowen's boot, converting two penalties.

The Blues will take on the Chiefs next week in the qualifying finals.

Meanwhile, the Hurricanes smash Moana Pasifika's hope of making it to the top 6 with 10 tries to two.

Hurricanes demolish Moana 64-12.

The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua finished in 10th place after a 52-7 loss to the Reds at Suncorp Stadium last night.
