The Blues now lead the Super Rugby Aotearoa points table with 4 points after Round 1 of competition.

The Highlanders who also have 4 points are in second place due to points difference.

In third place on the table are the Chiefs with 1 point.

The Crusaders who were on a bye in Round 1 are joined by the Hurricanes at the bottom of the table.

Looking at the results from Round 1, the Highlanders edged the Chiefs 28-27 while the Blues beat the Hurricanes 30-20.

In Round 2 this weekend, the Chiefs face the Blues at 5.05pm Saturday while the Crusaders meet the Hurricanes at 3.05pm Sunday.
