A 57-year-old Bangladeshi national who was hit by a car in Nasole has passed away at the CWM hospital yesterday.
The second victim remains admitted at the CWM hospital.
Police Spokesperson, Ana Naisoro says the suspect who allegedly ran over the two men has been questioned and is in custody.
Naisoro confirms that the driver of the vehicle was under the influence of alcohol.
She says that the two men were waking along the footpath near Nasole when the vehicle ran them over.
Police investigations continue.
