Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama says he had an excellent meeting with his Australian counterpart Malcolm Turnbull in New York earlier today.
Speaking to Fijivillage from New York, Bainimarama said that they have discussions on PACER Plus and the way forward.
Bainimarama has extended an invitation to Turnbull to visit Fiji.
He also invited Turnbull to Fiji’s Independence Day celebrations in Sydney next month.
Bainimarama says that he also thanked Turnbull and the Australian government, especially the military, for coming to Fiji’s assistance after Tropical Cyclone Winston and taking part in the Adopt a School initiative.
