Bainimarama invites Biden to attend Pacific Islands Forum meet in Fiji

Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama has invited US President, Joe Biden to attend the Pacific Islands Forum meeting to be hosted in Fiji in August this year.

Bainimarama has tweeted that COVID-19 kept the meeting with the member countries virtual yesterday but they are committed to an in-person Pacific Islands Forum meet in August.

The Prime Minister says he has invited Biden to join the Pacific leaders and see first hand how Pacific island nations are coping on the frontlines of the climate crisis.
