Bail has been extended for Marlie Rota who is charged by FICAC for a count each of abuse of office and general dishonesty causing a loss.
Rota’s lawyer sought 14 days to finalize the agreed facts and documents.
It is alleged that Rota whilst being employed as an Executive Director with the Rabi Council of Leaders, misappropriated the Rabi Investment Funds amounting to $54,984.66.
The alleged incident occured between 1st December 2011 and 20th January 2012.
Magistrate Shageeth Somaratne has adjourned the case to January 10, next year.
