Baby Bula Boys will take on New Zealand in the semi final of the OFC U-17 Championship as they beat Cook Islands 3-0 in the quarter final at the HFC Bank Stadium this afternoon.
Petero Maivalenisau scored a goal for the Fiji just before half time to lead 1-0 at the break.
Delon Shankar scored Fiji’s second goal in the 50th minute.
Maivalenisau scored his second goal in the 92nd minute to seal the deal for the Baby Bula Boys.
New Zealand beat Vanuatu 1-0 in the quarter tonight.
In the semi finals on Wednesday, Tahiti takes on New Caledonia at 4pm while Fiji takes on New Zealand at 7pm.
The tournament serves as the Oceania qualifier for the FIFA Under 17 World Cup in Peru in November this year, with the top two nations going on to represent Oceania.
