As the Fiji Men’s 7s team is getting prepared to defend their title at the Tokyo Olympics, Coach Gareth Baber has urged Fijians to get vaccinated.
Baber says he is fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
The Fiji men’s and women’s teams got their second jab of the AstraZeneca vaccine in Australia last month.
The Olympic Games Rugby 7s competition will be held from the 26th to the 31st of this month.
Fiji is pooled with Great Britain, Canada and Japan while the Fijiana are pooled with Canada, France and Brazil.
The top two teams in each pool, plus the two third-placed teams with the highest points total will qualify for the quarterfinals.
The fixtures will be released later this week.
