Outgoing Fiji Men’s 7s team coach Gareth Baber

Outgoing Fiji Men’s 7s team coach Gareth Baber will be guiding the Fiji Airways Flying Fijians for the Northern tour.

Irish legend Rory Best will also help Baber.

Fiji Rugby Union CEO John O’Connor says they will be taking a squad who are based in Europe due to quarantine requirements.

O’Connor says Head Coach Vern Cotter and the rest of the coaching team who are based in New Zealand can be taken to Europe but it will be difficult to find quarantine spots for them when they return.

He says they feel it is not safe to take players and the coaching team from the Southern Hemisphere.

The FRU has also selected a coaching panel that will guide the Flying Fijians during the tour.

Fiji will play Wales, Georgia and Spain in November.
