Ba shop owners secure stock as rain continues

Shop owners in Ba Town are securing their stock as it continues to rain.

Special Administrator Dip Narayan says they may close the municipal market at 2pm if it continues to rain.

He says the chances of flood waters affecting Ba Town is high and businesses are taking proactive measures.

Ba has been the worst hit during the bad weather in recent weeks and the businesses have suffered a lot due to the flooding two weeks ago and again last weekend.

This was highlighted by the President of the Ba Chamber of Commerce Dinesh Patel.

Patel says the businesses have not really opened and done business over the last couple of weeks because of the consistent bad weather.

He has stated that they are preparing for the bad weather ahead.
