A 68-year-old man who allegedly stabbed his wife with a knife during a heated argument will appear in the Ba Magistrates Court today.
The incident occurred at their home in a settlement in Ba last Friday.
The woman who sustained serious injuries is admitted at the Ba Mission Hospital.
Police confirm the man has been charged with one count of attempted murder.
