Flood waters have entered Ba Town following heavy rain experienced this morning.
Several areas are affected including the market, shops and bus stand.
Fiji Roads Authority has closed several key roads, including Toge, the Cemetery Crossing, Qerelevu, Varadoli and Maritawa due to severe flooding.
We are reaching out to the Ba Town Council to determine if there are plans to close the town to ensure safety.
Meanwhile, the Fiji Meteorological Service has issued warnings, advising people to expect more rainfall as embedded low-pressure systems continue to affect Fiji through next week.
