Minister for Employment, Labour and Industrial Relations, Jone Usamate says he is not concerned about what others are saying in relation to the ATS workers that worked out of their jobs last week and are still out.
Usamate’s comments come after the Transport Workers Union in Australia has thrown its support for the locked out workers.
Usamate says his only concern right now is to try and get the parties together and come up with a solution.
The Australian Transport Workers Union Secretary Tony Sheldon says they were calling on the Australian government to prevent workers being sent from Australia to Fiji to replace locked out employees.
Sheldon says the Fijian government needed to support the workers in their fight for basic human rights.
He says they are fully supportive of these locked‑out workers over what he claims is bullying and intimidation by Air Terminal Services.
