Australia sends more relief supplies to Fiji

Australia has sent another Royal Australian Air Force C-17A Globemaster aircraft carrying humanitarian aid to help those affected by Tropical Cyclone Yasa

This is the third batch of relief supplies flown to Fiji by Australia.

The first two batches consisted of shelter kits, hygiene kits, medical supplies, chainsaws and parts, solar street lights and lighting supplies.

Australian High Commissioner to Fiji, John Feakes had said they are backing the Fijian government’s quick response by ensuring more relief supplies are available for families impacted by the cyclone.

The third batch is expected to arrive today.
