The Health Ministry has received 12 laptops and 3 modems from the Australian Government to assist them in their fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Australian High Commissioner to Fiji John Feakes tweeted that this is to complement the work of the Ministry and the Fijian Government and each modem has 3 months of data.

The items will assist the Ministry’s field team with the COVID-19 data collection and recording.

Feakes has also thanked the front liners for the work they have been doing.

The Australian Government has committed to giving 1 million vaccines to Fiji and recently they have donated 30,000 doses of Australian manufactured AstraZeneca vaccines through the Vuvale partnership.
