To ensure the hardworking men and women of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces' COVID-19 Task Force can sustain their food and fuel rations during this pandemic, Australia has announced an initial $75,000 assistance.

The Australian High Commission says they stand with their Fijian vuvale during these difficult times, just as Fiji stood with them through theirs.

They say similar support was provided last year during Fiji’s first COVID-19 case and TC Harold and while they wish it was under better circumstances, they are pleased to be able to support those on Fiji’s frontline however they can.
