Athletes to the Commonwealth Games hailed as titans by the President

Athletes who will represent Fiji in the upcoming Commonwealth Games have been hailed as “Titans” of the nation by President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere who has told the participants to go and live their dream.

Team Fiji presented their iTatau to Ratu Wiliame yesterday.

The President told the athletes that when they leave the gate of the State House, they go out with the passion of a person who dreamed of representing our country at this level.

Ratu Wiliame says the support of the whole Government is with the athletes.

72 nations will participate in this year’s Commonwealth in 280 events across 20 sports.

The Games will be held from the 28th of this month till 8th August.
