Assistance has poured in for Queen Victoria School after a fire destroyed the Verata dormitory earlier this month.

The Ministry of Education with the kind support from its donors has acted swiftly to assist QVS with mattresses, blankets, mosquito nets, bedsheets and pillows, school bags and stationery packs.

The Education Ministry says laptops will also be delivered next week.

The Ministry also acknowledges the National Disaster Management Office, Ratu Kadavulevu School, Fiji Elections Office, Mark One Apparel, and CK Bargain for their contributions and donations.

They say this is to rebuild and bring hope to QVS.
