Ashwini Prasad, who was allegedly found in possession of over half a kilogram of marijuana during a police raid at the Mead Road Housing Complex on Saturday, has been further remanded by the Suva Magistrates Court.
She appeared before Magistrate Krishan Prasad this afternoon, facing one count of unlawful possession of illicit drugs.
Prasad has sought assistance from Legal Aid for representation.
She requested bail, however, Magistrate Prasad says no formal application had been filed.
The case has been adjourned to February 25th.
