National Strength and Conditioning Coach at Fiji Rugby, Naca Cawanibuka says as negative as it may sound, the biggest blessing the Fiji 7s team had was the 8 weeks lockdown.

Cawanibuka says the reason is that they were able to monitor nutrition, sleep and he had never camped with the team before.

He says this was the first time in his career that he camped with the players for 8 solid weeks.

Cawanibuka says during this time the players made the biggest progress and were able to reduce their weight significantly.

He says good things come through real tough times adding that they also developed resilience and a bond amongst the team.
