Arsenal beat West Ham 2-1 at the London Stadium to reclaim fourth spot in the English Premier League.

Boss Mikel Arteta knew a win for Arsenal this morning would lift them back into the Champions League.

Arteta says despite the win, they didn’t play so well.

Rob Holding opened the account for the Gunners in the 38th minute of play. Jarrod Bowen equalized for the home team in the 45th minute.

Gabriel Magalhaes nodded the winner for the Gunners early in the second half.

Earlier today, Everton upset third placed Chelsea 1-0 to reduce their risk of being relegated.

Richarlison de Andrade scored the lone goal for Everton.

In another game, Tottenham beat Leicester 3-1.

Manchester City still leads the EPL table with 83 points followed by Liverpool on 82 points.
