Around 28,000 people in Fiji do not have jobs
Currently around 28,000 people in Fiji do not have jobs.

National Employment Centre CEO Viliame Baledrokadroka said they are looking at reducing this number to 14,000 by the end of this year.

Baledrokadroka said they have so far have registered 15,000 clients who will be undergoing eight weeks of training then a six-week work attachment before they have permanent jobs.

He said this also not only to reduce the unemployment rate but to also give people a second chance to make a change in their lives.
