Application period for subsidised student eTransport cards to be open until next Friday

The application period for subsidised student eTransport cards will be open until next Friday.

Parents and guardians of students from households with a combined income of under $16,000 can apply to receive subsidised eTransport cards at any education office or school location in Fiji.

All parents and guardians of Year 1 students entering school should check if they meet the eligibility criteria for the subsidised student eTransport cards.

A statement says the Ministry of Education stands ready to distribute subsidised student eTransport cards to students throughout the country, but parents must apply within the application window to ensure that their students receive their subsidised eTransport cards prior to the start of Term 1 on 15 January next year.

Subsidised student eTransport cards will be available for pick‑up at school locations before the start of Term 1.

The exact dates the cards will be available will be announced soon.

Parents and guardians of students who do not qualify for the subsidised eTransport cards do not need to submit an application.

Application forms for subsided eTransport cards will be available in education offices and at all school locations.
