People are once again being advised to refrain from sharing their personal information as another online scam has surfaced.

Police say this scam promises large sums of money if you give your phone number and other personal information.

The Cybercrime Unit is again advising people to refrain from giving out personal information or one-time passwords for money transfer apps such as MPAISA or MyCash.

They say your hard-earned money can be lost in a matter of seconds.
