Another newborn baby found at Suva Point

Less than a month after a baby was found in Nabua, another newborn was found today at Suva Point.

Police Spokesperson Ana Naisoro says that the baby’s boy's body was found by a 32-year-old Security officer who resides in Wailea St, Vatuwaqa. 

While looking for herbal medicine the security officer noticed a bag with cloth on the beach picked it up and found the newly formed baby wrapped inside.

Naisoro adds that the baby has been taken to the CWM mortuary awaiting post mortem.

Anyone with information about the mother or anything in general that could assist Police investigations is requested to call Crim Stoppers on 919.

Police also continue to request informtaion on the mother of the baby found in Nabua.
