Bangladesh's three-wicket win over Sri Lanka was overshadowed by Angelo Mathews' controversial timed-out dismissal in Delhi.

With Bangladesh already eliminated and Sri Lanka needing a miracle to progress, Champions Trophy qualification was set to be the focus of a match that went ahead despite poor air quality in the Indian capital.

India is currently leading the Cricket World Cup table with 16 points while South Africa is second with 12 points, Australia third with 10 points, New Zealand fourth with 8 points and Pakistan fifth with 8 points.

India has already secured a place in the first semi-final while South Africa has a high chance of qualifying for the semis as well with 6 winning matches so far.

The first semi-final will be played on the 15th of November at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata, India while the second semi-final will be played on the 16th of November.

Meanwhile, Australia will face Afghanistan at 8.30pm today.
