A police officer’s ability to successfully carry out their duty on a daily basis is largely due to the support of their family members according to Police Commissioner Brigadier-General Sitiveni Qiliho.

While speaking at the Commissioner’s Hour, Qiliho says on most occasions, family members make sacrifices of being without their loved ones for long periods of time due to the demands of policing.

The Commissioner's Hour is an opportunity for the head of the Fiji Police Force to hear directly from officers about operational and administrative issues that could be improved from headquarters level.

Qiliho says the Commissioner's Hour is an opportunity for him to meet the Divisional Command Group and thank them for their loyalty and support.
