Alleged wife murderer remanded and case transferred to High Court

27-year-old Apisai Madigibuli who is alleged to have murdered his 25-year-old wife

27-year-old Apisai Madigibuli who is alleged to have murdered his 25-year-old wife at an apartment complex along Robertson Road in Suva last Thursday has been remanded by the Suva Magistrates Court.

Madigibuli appeared before Magistrate Jeremaia Savou this afternoon.

Magistrate Savou transferred the matter to the Suva High Court stating that this is an indictable offence and the Magistrates Court will not decide on the bail.

The Police Prosecutor informed the Magistrate that the full phase of disclosures has been served but the post mortem report is yet to be filed.

The case has been adjourned to 14th May.
