A 20-year-old man who allegedly killed a 40-year-old man in Colo-I-Suva in April this year appeared before High Court Judge Justice Vincent Perera today.

The court has given time to the prosecution and defence to finalise the facts for a pre-trial conference.

It is alleged that Naivalurua struck the man with a cane knife several times.

The alleged incident occurred following a heated argument.

Naivalurua had earlier pleaded not guilty to a count of murder.

The case will be called again on the 8th of next month and the man’s bail has been extended.
