All students safe after RKS fire which started on the second floor

The fire at the double-story Degei House dormitory at Ratu Kadavulevu School in Tailevu last night started from the second floor but the cause of the fire is yet to be determined. 

The National Fire Authority has started with their initial investigation. 

Chief Fire Officer Qionilau Moceitai confirms that all students were safely evacuated and were accounted for last night. 

The students have lost most of their belongings.
 
Fourteen firefighters from the Korovou and Nausori Fire Stations responded to a call about the fire at 6.37 last night and managed to extinguish the blaze at around 8 o'clock last night. 

Attorney General and Minister for Economy Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum will visit Ratu Kadavulevu School this morning.
