Commissioner Northern Uraia Rainima says all the food rations will be distributed to the affected people before Christmas.

He highlighted this while briefing government officials.

Rainima has also asked the different ministry representatives if they can help in delivering the food rations as they will be teaming up with the RFMF officials.

Rainima also highlighted that the Water Authority of Fiji is still trying to fix water disruptions throughout the Northern Division and has requested stakeholders for water tanks to help the people affected.

He says this will help the Water Authority trying to restore water in all the affected areas.

Rainima says accessibility is very important and they have a good team who are clearing the debris which is blocking road access.
