The All Blacks have confirmed that winger George Bridge will be out of rugby for up to six months after suffering a chest injury in field training yesterday.

In a statement this evening, the All Blacks say Bridge will be assessed over the next 48 hours to determine the next course of action.

This is now raises the possibility of Fiji-born wing Sevu Reece making the match day 23 for the second Bledisloe Cup match on Sunday.

The two teams will be named tomorrow.

The Wallabies have not won in Eden Park in 34 years.

Australian referee Angus Gardner is officiating this Sunday's match.

Last year, the All Blacks rebounded from a 46-27 loss to the Wallabies in Perth to trounce them 36-0 at Eden Park and retain the Bledisloe Cup.

The All Blacks host the Wallabies at Eden Park in the second Bledisloe Cup match at 3pm Sunday.
