Albert Park ground closed until further notice for maintenance while pavilion remains open

People will not be able to use the ground facilities at Albert Park in Suva until further notice, as it is closed for some much-needed maintenance work.

The Suva City Council says they have initiated maintenance work at Albert Park in Suva, leading to its temporary closure.

They say this is part of the Council’s ongoing commitment to maintaining its facilities to the highest standards.

The Council says during this period, the park grounds will remain closed to the public; however, the pavilion will remain accessible for use.

They say facility bookings will be assessed on a case-by-case basis to minimise any disruption to scheduled activities.

The Council adds they will provide further updates regarding the reopening of Albert Park once the maintenance works are completed.
