Adita Milinia scored a hattrick to help the Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s team thump Japan 28-7 and book a place in the Vancouver 7s final later today.

Fijiana maintained their consistent performance from the quarter-finals against Brazil, scoring two tries through Adita Milinia and another from Ilisapeci Delaiwau to help Fiji lead 21-0 at half-time.

The Japanese side began the second half well, scoring their first try to close the gap to a 12-7 game.

Fiji replied minutes later, and Adita Milinia scored her third try of the game to seal the victory.

Fiji will play New Zealand in the women’s cup final at 1.41pm today.
