There are about 43 mechanical harvesters in the country so far.
FSC Chief Operating Officer Navin Chandra says the harvesters helped in the cutting of about 20 percent of the crop this year.
Chandra says they are looking forward to purchasing up to 20 mechanical harvesters for next year.
He says they are busy placing orders and next year they will have more than 60 harvesters.
