ACCF pays $31 million compensation for motor vehicles, employment and school accidents

$31 million has been paid to compensate motor vehicles, employment and school accidents since 1st January 2018.

The Accident Compensation Commission of Fiji announced this after they held a meeting with stakeholders to broaden their knowledge on various topics regarding accidents.

Through their discussion, they covered how compensation should be distributed when there is no will and the causes of road accidents.

They also discussed how assessments are undertaken by medical practitioners and digital marketing, cyber security, graphics, information sharing and ethics in ICT.

ACCF CEO Parvez Akbar also touched on their strategic goals and action plan toward the topics discussed.

Akbar also emphasised the importance of working as a team and remaining customer-focused.
