A proposed candidate of FLP makes allegations against the PM

A proposed candidate of the Fiji Labour Party, Vyas Deo Sharma made allegations against the Prime Minister about the amount of money in his bank account in a campaign meeting in Nadi last night and then asked us not to highlight it.

When approached by Fijivillage to provide the evidence relating to the claims made in the campaign meeting in Korobebe village in Sabeto, Vyas Deo Sharma said that he has been reliably informed about this but he has no evidence.

He then asked our reporter to delete the portion of his campaign speech where he made those allegations as it was only meant for the villagers.

He also asked us on why we wanted to focus on this. 

About 70 people attended the campaign meeting at Korobebe village.

Meanwhile the Fiji Labour Party will launch its manifesto tomorrow.
